Three men go to stay at a motel, and the man at the desk charges them $30.00 for a room. They split the cost ten dollars each. Later the manager tells the desk man that he overcharged the men, that the actual cost should have been $25.00. The manager gives the bellboy $5.00 and tells him to give it to the men.
The bellboy, however, decides to cheat the men and pockets $2.00, giving each of the men only one dollar.
Now each man has paid $9.00 to stay in the room and 3 x $9.00 = $27.00. The bellboy has pocketed $2.00. $27.00 + $2.00 = $29.00 - so where is the missing $1.00?
With less then a week left, and with advance polls happening in the election, I thought it would be a good time, to write a follow up post to the previous one.
The polls are all pointing towards a conservative majority, but the polls are changing so much you never know what to expect come election day.
Gurbax Malhi
Malhi, is the first Desi MP to accomplish what politicians strive for, and that’s to become an iconic figure in their riding.
First elected in 1993 when the Liberals first took office, Malhi gained notice because of his bright red Turban. 13 years later, poor English and all, he’s still around representing Malton.
Last term, Malhi was infamous for bringing up Gay Marriage wherever he went, speaking out against it, and getting other Liberal MP’s into trouble (Bains & Dhalla), but yet always stood his ground. Considering most desi’s in the riding owe Malhi, for a support letter or two, I don’t see him going anywhere any time soon.
As most people, I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with Malhi. When he fist got elected, Malhi was awesome, first MP in parliament with a dastar and all. 8 Years later, I was wondering how he was still in office, and how come no one was able to knock him out. Hated the fact that I had to hear him speak wherever I went. Morning wedding, he was there giving a speech. The night reception he was there giving a speech. Visakhi, he was there giving a speech. Any random day at the Gurdwara, he was there giving a speech. Now, after all the shit he’s disturbed, and trouble he’s caused for the other MP’s how can you not like him.
We hear it all the time, about how far evolved man has become. We are stronger, faster and live longer then we did 20 years ago, but at the same time all these things are no longer things the average person needs. These days everything and anything can be accomplished simply by pressing buttons.
I actually think we have gone backwards as a race rather then forward, and we see it reflected in our youth all the time, with headlines talking about the obesity, the lack of fresh air, etc. These days the average person is so un-fit and unhealthy that we really couldn’t do much if in fact we ever did need to take up arms.
As kids most of us, well at least those people I grew up with and still know, we where always active. From day break to sunset we would be outside doing something. Personally one of my favourite things was going to the park and playing around on the equipment, which leads me the point of all this jabbering.
I think as adults or at least as young adults we need adult parks. Parks where the equipment is sized in proportion to us. An outdoor playground resembling the activities seen on Survivior, or American Gladiator. But then then again we can always make the world we live in, our playground. A trend which has been catching on in Europe, known as Parkour AKA Free Running, does just that. You basically turn yourself into Spiderman or any other agile superhero you can think off and just race, paying no heed to the obstacles in your way.
I’m pretty sure 100 years ago most youth would be active enough to participate in this type of thing, but these days skills such as these are left for the select few. Anyways check out the following video as it really highlights the whole concept of free running, and may also remind many of you of your younger days as monkeys.

Everyone’s probably heard the sayings, “cheating gets you no where”, “cheaters never win”, “all your really doing is cheating yourself”, which leads me to wonder, who came up with these?
In sport, cheating is often credited to taking away from the win, which is true, after all nothing can compare to a winning a hard fought game, but then again loosing a hard fought game isn’t much fun neither, and I would much rather settle for the cheated win then the hard fought loss.
Same goes for school. When you spend days, nights and countless hours studying for a test, exam or working on an assignment, then get back that paper with 100% stamped on the front nothing feels better, you did it. Now, if you just agreed with me your missing out. After all, not studying, staying up late the night before procrastinating, walking into an exam and then getting complete and full darshan of someone else’s paper, and still getting that 100% feels just as good if not better. On the flip side, failing a paper when you could have easily cheated, but then got blocked due to someone else not letting you copy, well for most that’s enough to drive them into deep depression.
Now, over the years I’ve accumulated a vast knowledge of scams, excuses and ways to work the system. I’ve been blessed to have been around some of the most laziest individuals that you’ll ever meet when it comes to school. I’ve known individuals who spent 75% of their high school lives skipping class and still graduating with 80 + averages, without ever pulling an all nighter, let alone ever opening the class text book. University graduates who, while the rest of us where busy cramming where asleep snug in their beds, and then ended up graduating a year ahead of the rest.
I’d love to share stories and publicly swap tips of the trade, but that would just make it harder for future generations to practice this craft. As far as cheating goes, lets face it, some people can get away with it, others can’t. Personally I’m to lazy to cheat, where as others I know will spend more time planning the perfect scam then studying. If I’m to lazy to study, then you know I’m going to be lazy to devise a plan.
So now that I’ve totally appeased most of you looking for a quick fix, I will end this post with nothing more then anything else.

As a follow up to the Fighting Videos I had to add this.
The video titled: Why would you fight someone like this, featured an upcoming Miami Street Fighter named Kimbo. (He’s won the fight in the previous video.)
apparently Kimbo was on a hot streak he won mad fights, and that led to UFC fighter Sean Gannon accepting Kimbos call.

Firstly the Raptors lost again, and to quote one of man’s,
they won a couple of games against shitty teams ex. Atlanta that boosted their confidence now their playing on a confidence that they shouldn’t really have cause in actuality their shitty but the confidence is helping them win some extra games
I remember listening to Fan 590 one night after a Raptors game, and the host (Can’t remember if it was Chuck) said that the one thing Raptors fans need to remember is that we’re (The Raptors) are not as good as we think they are when they win, but at the same time their not as bad as we think they are when they loose.
With that said its time to move on to more positive things, and that is the man whom they call Kobe Bryant. Never , even including Jordan, has anyone seen a player so tenacious that even NBA players are shocked at his performance. Now far be it for me to be a Kobe fan, his arrogance astounds me, but I’ll give the man the respect that he deserves after scoring 45 or more points in 4 consecutive games. He literally put the Lakers on his back and ran with them. All other players who have tried to do the same end up with their backs buckling under pressure.
We’ve seen it in the past with Iverson, Carter, and others, but so far Kobe shows no intention on slowing down. So with that said its time to bless this blog with that which is Kobe, hope yall enjoy:
This blog for better or worse is an extension of my procrastination and boredom. It's not intended to convince, impress or convert you to be anything more then what you already are, but if it does then more power to it. Do be warned that the time you waste on this site, will be your own and I will not in any way shape or form be held responsible in compensating you for your losses.
