went to india past december.. was gonna land in delhi but cuz of fog all flights were diverted to bombay.. i got to meet alotta gursikhs in bombay ..they were on other flights but we shared the same waiting room.. i met this singh from england ..said fateh n asked em wher he was headed.. he said pehova..i recognized that name ..i asked em wher in pehova..he told me he was going for a divaan at pehova by Baba Maan “Singh”.. n i was like what the hell.. i understand ppl in india going ther cuz they don got internet n **** so they won’t knw whats goin on..but this guy from england..ENGLAND!! one of the most highly populated sikh countries outside of india..n most of all they got INTERNET..(i knw india does too).. but ya.. i was surprised.. thas my story

It seems like Mann Singh has grown a following due to his good works. It doesn’t seem like anybody’s produced any proof of wrong doing? It looks like ‘he said, she said,’ which happens a lot in the Sikh/Punjabi community. I don’t know enough about any of it so please correct me if I’m wrong.
The point is, even if he did do the things he’s accused of (which I’m not even that clear on), he seems to have done things that are positive and have helped people. We should totally forgive the people who follow him. If it turns out he was framed how could we explain our actions? If it turns out he’s done criminal acts, shouldn’t we show compassion to him and his followers?
Even if he was convicted of something, there will probably be people who don’t accept that, and believe in him as a great man. We should still be compassionate to those people.
It seems that some people have been inspired to be better Sikhs because of him, and they probably love and trust him for that.
There’s a lot I don’t know about the situation, but people seem to be ready to condemn all things associated with him, including being angry towards fellow Sikhs.

Prabhu, what would you call, sexually assaulting the wives of your closest followers. Than those followers speak out against you, isn’t that credible?

Than the same types of incidents have been reported all around the world about him. Just coincidence?

If Baba Maan Singh is innocent, why doesnt he re-enter Canada, so that he can be charged, and defend himself against these charges?

and Prabhu, there is a lot of he said / she said on the internet, but in real life there is proof, sometimes we are to fast to let something go, without thinking of what if it was our wife that he assaulted, or our daughter that he took advantage of.

These accusations are not without a basis.

I didn’t even know what he was accused of. I don’t know if they’re true or not. The first time I heard of him was on this blog. I just think we should be careful about condemning all the people who are associated with him and condemning all the things he’s done. It seems that he’s done good in his life and that this has inspired others. As a result, even if others never want to see him at fault, we should still treat them respectfully.
I just like to focus on the positive and the first thing I learned of him or his students was negative. I thought about how I’ve been on the receiving end of condemnation for simply knowing other people or going to a certain Gurdwara, which I think is unfair.

I’m sorry if I offend anybody. I’m not at all trying to say Mann Singh is innocent or guilty. I don’t know.
I do appreciate that the sangat is apprised of it. I just wanted to take the opportunity to say that we should stay clear of the five thieves including anger when dealing with people like him or those who follow him.

Brampton (Sanjh Savera) In the past we have spoken out against many of the actions of Sant Mann Singh in an effort to open many eyes to his doings, but recently a Bibi who was victim and witness to his harassment has sent Sanjh Savera a response, notarized by her lawyers. In this response she brings to light many disturbing occurrences.

Like many, this Bibi was attracted to Mann Singhs sangat and gave him much respect in return for the ill conceived love and blessings she felt she was receiving. Like many these blessings led her to be a part of his close inner circle of shardaloos.

Note: Sanjh Savera has kept the name and address of Bibi hidden, but if needed can be produced. Through out this story we will be using aliases to protect the victims identities.

My name is Tarnjeet Kaur, and with my husband and children met Baba (Mann Singh) in 2000. Prior to this we had acquired and listened to many tapes and afterwards decided to meet and see them in person. At that time our family was one which consumed alcohol and meat on a regular basis, but in 2001 after meeting and staying in the Sangat of the Baba, we received Amrit. To help us with this change and keep us on the path Baba Mann Singh became close to us and treated and showed us affection as though we were his children. In this nature we continued to grow closer to Mann Singh, who was described the members of his Jatha as being Guru Gobind Singh reincarnated to help save this world.

In May 2002, Mann Singh arrived in England, and we too went to met him there. When we returned Mann Singh phoned and asked that I come back alone, but due to the relationship we had with Mann Singh, I never thought twice as to why he would be asking me to come alone. Returning to England I met a women by the name of Kamaljeet Kaur who asked me if Mann Singh had ever groped me. I replied off course not, and she went on to tell me how Mann Singh had put his hands under her top and groped her. She went on to tell me about a “Masi England” (another women) who he had also groped. I was disgusted and told this woman to speak no more of such things and asked her to never talk of this again, as at the time I felt that she was out to only bad mouth Mann Singh.

Some time had passed, and I continued to grow closer to the Baba. The Baba would show us a lot of love which to us felt like we had received the divine blessings which are received by doing the sangat of Saints. As our love for Mann Singh continue to grow we visited Mann Singh in India, England America Toronto, California, basically wherever the Baba toured we received calls to join. Wherever and whenever we could go visit we would, sometimes due to other obligations where the entire family could note attend I would go and visit alone.

It was also at about this time that the Baba would say things such as “whatever happens” or “we’ll meet”. I never understood the double meanings behind these messages, but would always agree. I never had the courage to ask what these messages meant.

It had become a common saying by Mann Sion, that the path of Sikhi was one of blind faith. There was no need to look around and analyze things rather one should say “Sat Bachan” and continue on.

Many times while resting Mann Sion would call me into his room and ask me to lie down with him on the bed and rest in his arms. I never thought of speaking out about this as I had felt that he was loving us as though we were his own children.

In August 2003, we accompanied the Baba during his tour of America. One day Mann Sion, called me and another lady (Jasvant Kaur from California) into his room. When I entered Sahib Singh (Baba’s close companion and sevadaar) was asleep and Jasvant Kaur was sitting down. Mann Singh then took me into the Bathroom locked the door from the inside, and gave me a tight hug, when he placed my hands on his private parts, and told me to squeeze. I resisted and immediately asked them what they where doing. Seeing my resistance they replied, that they where testing me and was pleased to announce that I had passed.

He again gave me a tight hug, and told me to leave. It was at this time that any and all respect I had for Mann Singh disappeared. The incident was of such that when I tried to tell others, it would be difficult for them to believe me, and my situation had become really difficult, and I became nervous.

For many months I had kept quiet about the incident. In the same year Mann Singh came to New York, and again called me to come visit. I did not want to go but my husband sent me, as he had not known about the incident. I only stayed in New York for one day, but in this short time Sahib Singh had picked up that something was wrong, but even then I never told him.

In Feburary 2004 a friend of mine on returning from India pressured me into telling her my story. I ended up telling her everything, and she then told me that Mann Singh had destroyed many girls, including one who was staying at his Dera who had taken by force, which upon learning Sahib Singh had investigated and come to realize that such things were happening.

After this, me and my friend told our husbands who where deeply hurt upon hearing this news. It is now our duty to tell people about this monster and show them the truth about him and what his true intentions are so that other women do not fall into his grip. We feel this is our duty to all humanity.

It is to my knowledge that Mann Singh is in New York where many Jatha’s and Gurdwara Committee’s have boycotted this Baba. But still many of the Baba’s closest associates do not have it in them to question the Baba about these incidents.

If Mann Sion wants, he can reply to Sanj Savera with his own reply and give his side of the story.

Within the Sikh community these Sant Babay increase by the day. Gullible people blinded by there respect follow prey to their acts, and then remain silent. The Punjabi Press Club’s hard and defiant stance against these Babay has made a lot of progress in educating the masses, making it harder for such villains to come and manipulate the Sangat , however there is a need to bring this to the attention of the Sangat abroad.

it was really hard for me to believe what this baba has done. here is mine story. I really thought that i was blessed by this man. He did my rishta with this man from india. This man just used me to get into this country and know he has left me and my children out in the cold. He believes this baba is his everything that we are his nothing. i hard so many stories about this happening but never thought this would happen to me,and my 2 children. where do i go from here what do i do???
