Campaign84 and AKAAL Productions have organised a Poetry Competition in commemoration of the Victims of the Massacre of Operation Bluestar - 1984.
If you enjoy writing poems and have been hurt or feel the need to inspire others, by raising awareness of the terrible slaughter of Operation Bluestar, then we urge you to write your feelings down and submit them to us so we can come together to raise awareness for a better society.
The Dead Have No Voice, But The Living Do - Lets Use It!
The rules are simple. There are 3 age groups:
Under 11’s
12-16
17+
- Poems MUST be original and cannot be copied from anyone else.
- All poems MUST be submitted via email to: 84poems@neverforget84.com
- Poems MUST be submitted by 11:59pm (GMT) 28th May 2006. Late entries may not be counted.
- If your entry is successful you will be contacted via telephone and email, asked to collect your prize and read your poem to the Sangat on Sunday 4th June. So please make sure you are available to attend. If transport is required let us know in due course.

Bani is poetry, which is our Guru, so I would say poetry has done a lot for the panth, without poetry in the form of Bani, we wouldn’t have a Guru or a Panth.

I was bored and inspired by something so here it goes..
(for all those who do not like the foul language..DO NOT READ ON..do not complain after.)
Now you soft *** ******* know who you are, when **** starts you the one who afraid to get out of the car, when beef starts I can hear you studder, back off cuz you don’t got numbers, trust me mannn.. I know ur type, wait for ur boy to start it so u can jump in the fight, if it aint lookin good ur boy gettin a beatin.. ur fleeing the scene..stayin on the sidelines like Mean Gene..yo im just about ready to spit in your face, and show my appreciation for a f***’n disgrace…
Now people always askin me what u got against these p***y ******* B, I tell em yo its simple trigonemtry, an equation for fake msg board khalistanis, ******* = snitches, ive seen it.. its like an evolution, but ive cracked the code I got a solution, someone tell em thers a revolution, shaheedi is likely and your needed today, and they hafta drop their keyboards for an AK, go to war with the world like Dre.. in the N.W.A days, I kno for a fact these mans will flee the scene, run the 100 metres faster than Maurice Greene.. so thas it for now …but keep in mind I got more Rhymes than Busta, you fake fradgulent MothaFuk*s.
