Sikhs Against Genocide
Writing by shinda on Monday, 29 of May , 2006

Bring you parents, neighbors, kids, uncles, relatives, friends, anyone you can think of bring em. Why, because it is the least you can do. Just come, listen to Kirtan, listen to survivors talk, and learn something. In 1984, no one would listen to us, so having been in the same place, we owe it to the people of Darfur to at least take the 2-3 hours that the event is, and to listen, and learn about what is going on, because “Knowing is half the battle”.
Anyway’s here’s a small video to fill you in..

great post Singh. We as Sikhs have the duty to look out for Sarbat Da Bhalla, this is a great event, I hope others around the world will also do something to put Sarbat Da Bhalla in action.
the website looks great to.

Thanks Shinda for this wonderful post. I have been thinking about for a while. we have so much responsibility to take up the issue Dafur. History ( genocide) should never repeat anywhere on this earth.
It is not a wonderful post ( wrong choice of words). I apologize for it. Thanks for bringing up the issue. Hopefully, every Sikh Gurdhwara Parbandak group can replicate this effort of awarenees about Dafur in their community.
