Colbert knows what he’s talking about

Writing by shinda on Thursday, 20 of September , 2007

Looks like Colbert is right once again, and I guess this blog only echo’s what he ’s saying, but eh I still think posting and linking stuff does more then most hunger strikes off yesterday ever did. But then again I’m also part of the minority that think this kid had it coming, and don’t see him getting all barbecued as being that big of a deal. (A sad day when the only person who agrees with you is Fox News).

But in all seriousness, although the force may have been a bit excessive, there was a reason no one jumped to his defence, and it wasn’t fear or not knowing what was happening. It was because people couldn’t stand him. If you watch the videos where he’s being escorted out, you can hear the applause from the audience once the police grab him. For those who think they were cheering at his comments, watch the video again and pay closer attention. Most people let out a sigh the second he started patronizing Kerry, and were relieved when someone came and finally shut him up.

My apathy towards the man has little to do with his opinion or his message. It’s not that I don’t think he has a right to say what he had to say, or that I’m against anything he was saying. It was the way he was saying it which hit a nerve, avoiding the point with his long winded “build up”. At least if he had gotten to the point we’d have all heard Kerry reply. But instead we hear this Nancy boy screaming at the top of his lungs because the police were there wanting to escort him out for having caused a disturbance prior to having even gone before the mic.

Then again at least he helped give me something to post about, so digg, link and post it.

Shinda

Who are you trying to fool? You are such a flip flopper on so many issues that its no surprise you would defend JOHN KERRY of all people…

Often people like you would get upset over idiotic things such as the “build up” to his point.

Shinda, you yourself are very opinated which I respect. I respect that you are so passionate about life that you decided to share your opinions with the world… its really awesome to see.

However, you have strong (sometimes racist, and facist) views but usually express these opinions in the most (for a lack of a better term) “pu$$iest” of ways…

When someone who is obviously distraught and passionate about something and has the enough courage to do something like that on such a big platform, you would think people would praise something like that and at most laugh at the consequences…

but mr. shinda singh looks down upon the person not because of the content, not because of what he had to say… but HOW HE SAID IT?

I wonder if you would have enough himat to yell your anti-india, anti-certain sikhs, anti-unity, anti-defenders, anti-humanity stance out loud in such a platform?

Or maybe you would just go home and write about what you wish you could have done.

YO… everyone needs to chek this out… http://www.cknw.com/shows/realitycheck.cfm?REM=42341&fld=2007&fle=Immigrant_Bashing.wma&wids=300
its this bruce allen dude from a vancouver radio station CKNW who straight up annihilated sikhs.. something needs to be said and done. freedom of speech is great and all but these comments parallel the don imus situtation where he called a womens basketball team a “bunch of nappy headed hos” or wutever… and because blacks in america are no longer havin this **** said about them… they made the man lose his job.. i say we do the same because this dude is a racist prick who wont apologize and doesnt deserve to be the voice a lot of people listen to when he degrades sikhs for what?… not being the version of immigrants that he wants in canada.. he has opened a door which will allow people to say things like this and get away with it.. and im not okay with it. Shinda we need a post.

This blog for better or worse is an extension of my procrastination and boredom. It's not intended to convince, impress or convert you to be anything more then what you already are, but if it does then more power to it. Do be warned that the time you waste on this site, will be your own and I will not in any way shape or form be held responsible in compensating you for your losses.
