I was on my way home today when I heard about a kidnapping, some 58 year old man who was held for ransom, but fortunatly police found him today walking around in Brampton. At first the story just went in one ear and out the other, and I never gave it a second thought. That was until off course I heard that the man was from Malton, and it wouldn’t have taken Miss Cleo to realize that desi’s had to have been involved somehow.
So I look it up and and looks like I may be ready for the prime time getting my own psychic hot line or something. Anyways story follows below:
Brampton men charged in kidnapping
Thursday September 11 2008
By PAM DOUGLASTwo Brampton men are among four accused of kidnapping a 58-year-old Mississauga man this week, and Peel police say they anticipate more arrests.Peel police are still trying to piece together what happened to the victim, who was grabbed in Malton some time after 9 p.m. Monday and was eventually found at 7 a.m. Thursday on the side of rural Heritage Road in Brampton.
He was suffering from minor injuries and was admitted to hospital for observation, according to police.
At press time, police had not yet interviewed the victim, so they did not have all the details about where he was held, if he knew his kidnappers, or how he escaped.
However, the night before he was found, police arrested three suspects, and picked up the fourth the next morning.
The man, who police are not identifying, left his Malton home Monday, some time between 8 and 9 p.m. Some time later, his family received several telephone calls and a demand for ransom. The family was ordered to turn over money or the victim would be killed, according to police.
Brampton’s Manpreet Padda, 25, and Balbir Thind, 45, have been charged, along with Guramrit Sidhu, 45, of Mississauga and Tarinder Saggi, 32, of Markham.
The investigation is continuing and any witnesses who may have information or may have seen the victim on Heritage Road are asked to call investigators at 905-453-2121, ext. 2133, or Peel Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Apart from knocking the life out of Chuck Lidell and making him see the light for a few seconds yesterday, Rashasd’s choice in intro wear was just as surprising. With Affliction banned, looks like there maybe a new sponsor in town.

Here’s a vid thats been quickly making its rounds from India’s equivalent of, “So you think you can dance”.
If you’re wondering what instigated the whole ordeal, seems like the host went all super Simon and just snapped. If you thought Simon was tough on his guests, seems like she takes it up a few notches:

By the way the normal disclaimer applies for swearing and what not.
