Why?? WHY!!!?!?!?

A few posts ago I posted the Babay doing Bhangra video and someone commented asking me what I have against Bhangra.

Bhangra... The biggest thing I have against Bhangra is the commercialization of it. Now, not everyone will agree that’s a bad thing, after all its promoting and bringing Desi’s into the general public and all that, which is neither here nor there, but what we can agree on is that its allowing everyone the ability to hijack Bhangra.

Honestly I may not be its biggest fan, and I honestly really don’t have anything against other people doing Bhangra, I just don’t like other people making it look so bad. It was bad enough as a kid growing up, seeing drunken uncles two step to Bhangra, but at least they had the excuse that they were drunk. What possible excuse can these people come up with to justify what their doing as being Bhangra??

Not trying to promote Bhangra, but this was just too funny to pass up. I think they couldn’t find Singhs with full dhara’s so they had to add fake dhari’s to some of these guys, could be wrong, but some do look fake. Chulooo watcha gonna do..
