For those of you from the GTA it’s more than likely that you already know about Khalsa Pizza’s grand opening this Saturday June 28th. Like myself, you may have possibly found a flyer on your windshield after a Nagar Kirtan, a wedding or some other program. Maybe you even went to the Kirtan program last weekend that was held at the location. All the same, regardless of how you may have known about it, take this as just a reminder that the grand opening is this weekend and to go check it out. Not being a fan of Popular, Pizza Depot, or Moga’s, I do welcome a new challenger into the mix.
So this Saturday June 28th, while watching Hockey Night in Canada in Punjabi, or as you sit back and catch the possible game between the Lakers and Spurs, or even if you choose to catch the premiere of Saturday Night Fights on CBS, (where Kimbo will viciously rip through another spoon fed opponent), be sure keep Khalsa Pizza in mind for all your feasting needs.
Also goto their website KhalsaPizza.com and sign up for their newsletter to get word on special promotions and other updates.

Sources report that earlier this morning PindGagan was bombed by muslim extremists. So far no causalities have been reported but the Pind has been left with a new home page and all posts seem to have gone missing. Rescue efforts are now in place to try and recover any posts and rescue teams are optimistic that the there were no causalities but note it is still to early to tell.
Sarchpan Gagan himself could not be reached for comment, but it sources cite that the Sarchpanch was no where near the pind as he was last reported to have been vacationing in the sunny side of Malton, as little as a week ago.
A group known as the Mor0can Islam Defenders Team has taken credit for the attack, but home land security has yet to take any course of action citing that for the time being this is a rescue operation, and all subsequent acts will occur at Sarpanch Gagan’s discretion.
Meanwhile an amber alert has been raised for all like sites to perform backups and secure there data as such attacks are always unpredictable, this attack comes in light of another suicide bombing that left several Sikh sites including COSS and Sikhs Against Genocide crippled just last year.

Check this out, see if you can differentiate between a geek and a killer. I failed miserably, but then again they all looked the same to me. Meaning all real killers are just geeks unleashed.

For the longest time now, I’ve been interested in getting into photography as a hobby. I remember back in high school I even took some photography classes as my breeze through electives, and got to use SLR camera’s and then develop our own rolls. I never did quite get the hang of using the cameras, other then adjusting the shutter speed for the proper light exposure. Maybe this summer I’ll try my hand at it again by grabbing a used SLR camera of EBay, but until then check out these images by Singhs who seem to know what their doing:
Check out some of these sites for photos by some great Gursikh Photagraphers:
Digitology (Gallery) - Kamaldeep Singh ..
Solarider’s - Flikr Gallery

Restoring the Pride - Sartaj Singh
